Making gold in Diablo 3 is the desire of every player. Buying new equipment from the Auction House with the gold you earn is the easiest and most effective way to improve the strength of your character. A billion gold can turn a character that struggles in Inferno mode into a superstar capable of clearing Inferno mode on MP10.

The Easiest Way to Make Gold: Farming
Farming is by far the easiest way to make gold in Diablo 3, but it is also the least effective. The reason is that it is so easy to do that this is the way most players make money in Diablo 3. If you are doing the same thing as everyone else, how can you ever hope to accumulate more wealth than the average player?

The answer of course is that unless you are farming enemies much faster than the average player, you are never going to get rich by farming. The only way to farm much faster than average is to have better gear than average. You need good gear to farm effectively, but if you do not have enough gold to begin with, you will be unable to afford good farming equipment.
